Sometimes we can lose our passion to the mission that God has given us. When we are drifting away from our faith we do not realize until we have drifted far away. People are wondering if holding on to their faith is worth it. We have to hold on to our faith even if we do not get what we were promised.
Trusting and acting on the promises of God drastically affects how we live here on earth. For us as Christians, it means faith in the promise of what lies in the future should be wholly embraced, even if we don’t see it.
Only what is done for the good of others will matter in the end. On what basis are we to have this radical love? God helps us to have that hope and he gives us great examples of people who had great faith. Faith is what links hope and gives power to radical obedience.
How do we as Christians live our faith in these times of social and racial tension? By listening. Ultimate healing can only take place when we listen to understand and provide Jesus as the source of change.
The loneliest times in your life are the times where the greatest blessings come when you allow it. It is painful but only for a season.
As we reflect on God’s perfect knowledge, perfect love, perfect will, and perfect faithfulness, let us remember that he is truly our most perfect father. Happy Father’s Day, God.
Today, Peter reminds us that work of Christians is to sacrifice to the will of God. Let’s us reach out to people, hearts ready and eager to restore the glory of God.
The battle to remain positive is a matter of perspective. What do we see when people are hurting? God calls us to listen and have hearts and souls that feel, when we see our brothers and sisters in need.
Today, we are reminded that fear is real and valid. By admitting and ranking our fears, we not only overcome them, but encourage others by introducing them to the God who gives hope in these times of fear.
