Set Free: Finding Forgiveness and Grace in Our Mess

Like the woman caught in sin, we are all trapped in our own brokenness and deserve condemnation, yet Jesus offers us unconditional forgiveness and freedom. Through communion, we experience not just individual grace but a shared liberation that binds us together as a forgiven community.

When a Samaritan woman came to Jacob’s well expecting an ordinary day, she found Jesus already waiting. In John 4, Tony Singh traces her remarkable journey of discovery — from seeing a tired Jewish stranger to recognizing the Messiah — and asks the question Jesus posed to her: “If you knew the gift of God and who it is that asks you for a drink…” The gospel doesn’t begin with our search for God. It begins with God coming looking for us.
