Grace and Mercy. Part 2

Grace is sometimes an elusive concept, but it is the salvation on which we solidify our Christian faith in the salvation that is Jesus Christ’s. This week’s message taught is that grace is unmerited and given to us “because of God’s great love for us”.

Church. Conclusion

We don’t attend the church. We are the Church! This last sermon in The Church series talked about importance of becoming a body of Christ and a family of believers in a true meaning of this word.

Praise God

Worshiping God is very different in other countries. In Canada, we take a lot of things for granted. Our fellow Christians have to go through a lot of hardships just to able to come to church on Sundays. Raj and Ronnie Paul, from one of our sister churches in India, talked today about what it means to live a life of a disciple in certain parts of India.

Thanksgiving service

Today, at Thanksgiving services we had a few people from our congregation share out things they are thankful for. Michael and Emily Singhs concluded the service by sharing the communion message.

The Temple

How has Biblical understanding of temple changed? What did Jesus mean when he was saying about destruction of the temple and what can modern-day disciples learn from His words?

The Body

The Bible uses many metaphors to describe the church. The most dominant one used by the apostle Paul is ‘the body’. Today we discuss how beautifully the church could display the manifold wisdom of God when we strive to live in this manner.
