What would church look like without the Holy Spirit?
The book of Acts shows us a church in Jerusalem that was unmistakably alive. Ordinary people who had been with Jesus could not stop speaking about Him. When they prayed, the place where they met was shaken, and they were filled with the Spirit to speak boldly.
But the same Spirit who made them bold also made them sensitive to sin and faithful under pressure, as we see in the sobering story of Ananias and Sapphira and in Stephen’s stand, full of grace and power.
The Holy Spirit is not a force but a Person, and He lives in every believer. So what does the room He lives in look like in your heart?
Join us this Sunday as we continue our journey through Acts and discover what it means to be a bold, sensitive, and faithful church today.
Come worship, learn, and grow with us. Everyone is welcome!
