An Ever Present Hope

Do you ever feel like your life/future is hopeless? We all struggle with hopelessness at some point, those are the moments when we need God the most. If you give yourself to God faithfully, your future will be much more secure. So let God take your anxieties through prayer, song, and talking with others for support.

Sometimes we do not understand the power of hope in our life. It is important that we remember that hope is what propels us to want to make it to heaven. You need faith to survive and a vision and a plan. Hope is faith in the future tense.

Psalm 43:5

During challenging times we need to put our hope in God.

Hebrews 6:19-21

Hope is an anchor for our souls, without it we will drift. Hope propel us to our ultimate goal, heaven itself.

Ephesians 2: 12-13

The future was grey before we became Christians. Because of Jesus we now have hope.

Matthew 8:23-27

Jesus was able to rebuke the winds and the wave. The disciples saw God in action. Sometimes we are struggling to be the person that Jesus wants us to be. With Jesus’ help we can overcome any struggles in our lives.

Matthew 9:22

This woman bled for twelve years and no one could heal her. Hope is all about trusting and believing in God. When we feel like we are at the end of our rope and there is no way out. That is when we need to turn to Jesus.

Hope is strengthened by the past

The Lord will fight for us, we just need to be still. Because we are trusting God in those challenging moments he will see us through.

Psalm 23

  • In those challenging times, God is with us.

Hope can be renewed daily

1 Peter 5: 6-7

Whatever is burdening us today we need to give it to Jesus.

  • Phil 4: 6-7 we need to pray always
  • Ephesians 5:18-20 sing to God
  • We’ve got to learn to talk, share with others what we are going through ( Gal 6:2)

Isaiah 40:29-31

Even when things are not happening the way we want it to go and we feel like our prayers are not being answered we still need to trust in God. We should always trust, always hope, and always believe.
