Transformed by Prayer

James 1:1-5
James , had a humble disposition about husked. A bother of Jesus Christ he didn’t brag about his kinship with the Lord but prefers to refer to himself as a servant. He knew who he was and he knew who Jesus was.
‘Old camel knees’ was his nickname because of callouses on his knees as a result of often prayers.
Where’s your prayer life this morning? No matter where it is, there’s always room for improvement.
We need to open up our hearts to receive God’s wisdom.
James 4:1-3
Conflicts between believers come from their evil desires.
It’s so easy to believe to convince ourselves that our hearts are in the right place, when in fact it’s not so.
James 5:13-18
We need to pray for each other. We need to respond to a problem with a prayer. Honest, heartfelt prayer.
If you are happy sing psalms.
To be transformed by prayer requires vulnerable and open relationship with fellow believers so they know what’s going on in your life and able to pray for you.
Great historical events were preceded by prayer.

God is not limited by any circumstance. It’s important that we believe and pray and God will do great things.
