Life in Exile - Ezekiel

Life in Exile – Ezekiel

Ezekiel’s prophetic work wasn’t glamorous. If you looked at the stats of his ministry, they might seem discouraging. But the impact? Eternal. Because Ezekiel didn’t get to choose the times he lived in—he only got to choose how he responded. And he responded in obedience.

In his vision, Ezekiel is brought to a valley full of bones—dry, lifeless, forgotten. And God asks him a question: “Can these bones live?” Maybe that’s a question we need to ask about our lives, our communities, even our churches. Where are the dry bones?

We all know someone whose faith feels like it’s dried up. Maybe it’s a friend, a family member, or maybe—if we’re honest—it’s us. The bones may be scattered, but God hasn’t abandoned them. And just like Ezekiel, we are called to speak life—to pray, to believe, and to call on the Spirit to breathe again.

So as we continue in this message, you are invited you to reflect:

What areas of your life or ministry feel like dry bones?

And what is God asking you to do about it?
