Jesus, the Saviour

Christmas is not about getting caught in consumerism, but a reminder that God sent his son to be a solution to the grandest problem we have, sin.

The problems we are facing today is because of our broken relationship with our Creator. We think we can be a better god than the Almighty, that is what Adam and Eve did in the Garden of Eden. What God has promised can fix the initial issues we are facing today.

Genesis 3:15

The offspring of a woman will crush the head of the serpent.

Isaiah 7:14-15

Honey was food for people that are poor. The way to have impact on the world is not through riches but rather through Jesus Christ.

Isaiah 9:1

Isaiah 53:3-6

God is the only one that can solve our problems and he did that through Jesus. Jesus took on our pain and he was wounded for us. The challenge for today is not to get caught up in consumerism but rather what Jesus has done for us. Our problem is not that we don’t have enough resources but rather the conditions of our hearts. The solution is not found in the system but rather that Jesus is our Saviour. We need to live our lives with the mindset that Jesus is coming back again.
