Servants of the Lord

Allow the cross to shape the decisions that we make every day. We all make mistakes because we are humans and we are not perfect.

“I have seen two things which I cannot reconcile: A man dead without question, and that same man alive again”

As servants we are called to:
Imitate our Lord
Be peacemakers
To serve not to be served

Faith is something to be seen. To put our trust in God means that I put my life behind what Christ said. When we see a problem we should be willing to step up and help and not wait for others to do it.
Mark 1: 40-42
Jesus has this great ability to love which we are called to do as disciples.

Jesus:
Saw the need
Felt the need
Met the need

Saw the Need:
Philippians 2:1-4
Satan is working really hard to destroy the relationships among Christians. God calls us to put others above ourselves. We need to pray and ask God to open our eyes so that we can see what he wants us to do with our time.

Feel the need:
Empathize with Others
Engage our Hearts
Meet the Need.
Let Empathy move us to Action
We need to show people that we care.

Conclusion:
Proverbs 11:25
“A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed ”
If we focus on refreshing other people we will get refreshed as well.
Why do we follow Jesus?
Because we see something in his life that is different and we want that for ourselves as well.
