Forgiveness is hard. In most cases because we feel hurt. Trust broken.
Matthew 18:21
There are a lot of situations in our lives when we feel hurt in feel like retaliating.
Jesus calls is to forgive us people who burst us even though they didn’t ask for forgiveness or even feel sorry for what they have done to you.
Another reason we find it hard to forgive sometimes is because we forget where we come from.
Romans 3:23
We may be blinded by another person’s sin against us that we forget about our own shortcomings.

Bitterness prevents us form forgiving quickly. But bitterness is like poison that ruins our own lives. Negative thoughts, anger judgment destroy our lives not lives of the people who hurt you.
Another problem with bitterness is that it spreads. It contagious. It destroys healthy churches.
Bitterness sucks up all the energy. Makes you tired.
The perfect antidote for bitterness and unforgiveness is grace.
Grace needs faith to work effectively.
