Join us this Sunday as five East Canadian Churches are coming together to for an online worship service.
Good morning, let all the earth fear the Lord. Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him. For he spoke and it came to be. He commanded and it stood firm. Our soul waits for the Lord, for he is our help and shield. Our heart is glad in him because we trust in his holy name. Let your steadfast love Lord be upon us, even as we hope in you. This morning we’re just so thrilled to be able to sing songs to God together, to worship together, we are excited that this morning a lot of exciting things are going to happen. I’m already thrilled and uplifted in my spirit to know that we can meld our hearts together here in the eastern Canadian family of churches.
If this is your first time visiting our community we welcome you. We hope it will not be the last and we do hope that you find your home here whether it’s in Halifax, or whether it’s in Newmarket, or Hamilton, or Montreal, we do pray that you stay with us and continue to celebrate God with us, because if there’s anything about our group we do love to celebrate and worship God. Thank you for joining us! It’s only appropriate that we go to our Father and pray at this time to ask his blessing on our time together. Let us pray. Our God in heaven this morning, we wait for you, we acknowledge you are our shield, we acknowledge that you are our hope.
And as the scripture says, you are our hiding place. We’re so thrilled that we live in this day and age, that we can connect our hearts literally from thousands of miles away. I pray every soul that is tuned in today that their spirits will be lifted up and that you will make them understand and feel how you are the God of comfort, you’re the God of peace, you’re the God of love, you’re the God of patience. Above everything else, Father, we’re grateful that we can worship your son, that we can sing praises about him and to him, Father, may you receive every glory honor, and praise and we thank you for your son’s death because it meant life for us. In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen. We’re so excited this morning that the chairman for the eastern Canadian family of Churches Danny Brisebois is going to be preaching the word stronger together in just a few moments. Really excited about that so we are now going to turn it over to Hamilton and we’re gonna be led into a song there. And right after that, Danny’s gonna be preaching the word. Let’s have a great time worshiping the Lord.
